The end of an era means a new beginning

How do you handle energy when you don't know what's coming?

And how do you stay upright in times when not everything seems to be as obvious as it always used to be? Human Design has helped me to have faith in life. Whichever way it goes. So that you can REALLY live. As yourself. As who you are...

Sometimes texts can come to you that can suddenly shed new light on everything you've observed so far. Receiving inspiration from the stream of information that is currently being pumped around the cosmos has almost become an art form in itself. Yet, every day there is a quote or a sentence that makes me think, or that allows me to complete the picture for myself. And lately, these are often texts that have to do with the end of an era. The Global Cycles from within Human Design. The words that are both exciting and challenging. Which can evoke a combination of fear and courage. In which duality in the world where everything should be one becomes a beacon. Because every end also means a new beginning.  This is the following quote from Ra Uru Hu, shared by Mary Ann Winiger:

“It’s so interesting to watch the way in which the world works. Many years ago, in 1989, in a little suburb out of Frankford, Germany, I wrote the first book in Human Design.  It was called The Human Design System.  It was subtitled A Manual for No-fault Living.  Somehow over the years that subtitle disappeared.   But it was really at the heart and core of the value of understanding this knowledge. It is that in understanding this knowledge, it is not about fault and blame.  This is not about the blame game.

When I look out at this phenomenon and see the way it’s commented on, see the way it enrages certain people and certain causes and how quick everyone is to jump in and to make accusations of this and that and the other thing.  It’s astonishing to me.  This is a choiceless life, it truly is.  Anybody who has followed my Global Cycles teaching over the last 15 years will know that I have predicted the collapse of institutions.  It’s not me predicting it; it’s just simply obvious in the way in which the global mechanisms work.  That collapse is a natural thing.  That is, we are coming to the edge of the impact of the Cross of Planning on our lives as a global cycle.

We’ve had hundreds of years of this.  Hundreds of years of seeing the development of institutions; and the development of institutions to look after the needs of large expanded communities.  Everything about the 40/37 is rooted in this inherent bargain with the community to provide the community for its infrastructure, its needs, support it, police it, all the things that are part of the Cross of Planning.  Well, it’s collapsing.  It’s not collapsing because of people.  It’s not falling apart because people in positions of power today do not know how to use that power or in ineffective in it.

The system is breaking down not because there is something wrong with the system; its time is coming to an end.  It just is.

So many of the beings that are involved deeply with institutions worldwide live in an illusion of its perfectibility because that’s what we’ve been dealing with for 400 years.  We’ve been dealing with the process of trying to perfect the institutions.  But we’re coming to a time where the institutions don’t matter.  Where there is no global imprint that focuses humanity on this as an underlying structure.  We’re headed into a cycle where, in fact, “everyone is for themselves” to one degree or another.

The pressure is on for the transformation of the consciousness.  It all comes together.  It’s not like it’s all dark and evil and it’s going to be bad.  But, the thing that’s important for everyone to take in at this point in dealing with what will be the continuing collapse of institutions to be able to perfect their process; to truly be able to serve humanity is that you have to see that it’s not about turning your face towards a not-self collective, it’s about turning inward.  This is all about this movement away from collective authority to personal authority.

What you’re seeing is the breakdown of collective authority to really be something that can truly be trusted.  It can’t. And not because they are untrustworthy, not because they are lying or scheming or all these things—human beings do all of this stuff.  It can’t be trusted because it is a dying theme.  It’s like holding onto a sinking ship.

Human Design is about the potential of every individual; individual, not a mass.  Human Design is not an institutional constructed movement.  It’s one person at a time.  It’s one person at a time not abandoning anything, but discovering within themselves their authority.  If there is any great lesson out there, it is that what to do in time of threat is not to turn on your TV, your radio, or your computer to look for advice from somewhere out there.  It’s to trust within yourself to know clearly within yourself that there is an authority within you that is going to guide you no matter what.

Everything about this knowledge is about stripping away the dependency on those who have no right to control you, condition you unless that is precisely what is correct for you and only you can decide.  When you look out in this world and you look around and you see what’s going on and you see the dilemma that we have with all the various things that have been emerging over the last 20, 30 years, I want you to grasp something.  There is no cure for these things. There is no supra-government great leader that’s suddenly going to step up to the plate and fix it all, because it’s not fixable.  It’s just falling apart.

It means that each and every one of you have to look within yourself, and have to see therein lies what is correct for you; your authority, your capacity to be able to live correctly in this life regardless of the circumstances that are around you.  Oh, how easy it is for the not-self to be a victim.  The world is filled with victims.  And they blame the institutions.  Well, soon there will nothing left, in that sense, to blame.

These are unusual times; we get to live on the cusp of a great change in the way in which the world works.  And any time in the history of humanity that you come to these cusp points, there are all kinds of disarray that arises all around it.  It’s a change.  There is a deep and profound mutative force that is at work on this planet.  So let’s leave the blame game behind, and let’s enter into what is the only thing that will allow us to survive in the next cycle—the honoring of individual authority.  Follow your strategy, honor your inner authority, operate correctly within yourself and you will live as you should in this life. That is the point.

There is no one you can depend on.  There is no one you can rely on.  And truly, there is no one you can trust but yourself.  And when you’re correct and you’re operating correctly, that trust in yourself is your armor for this life. It will protect you; it will guide you because it’s precisely what you are here for.  And we are the ones, our generation, who stand at the edge of this precipice.  We are the ones that are here to demonstrate the correctness of the way, so that we can enter into this new age. That us, our children, that those beings that we have contact with, can enter into this new cycle properly equipped.”

The text is from many years back (I don't know exactly what year) and is more relevant now than ever.

Somehow this text gives me peace. And that's actually pretty crazy. Because it's a text that doesn't necessarily have a nice perspective if you look at it from how we were always used to doing things. But it gives me an explanation for the questions I have, the unimaginable bizarreness that is going on in our world right now and that I am trying to understand. Because that's how I'm designed. I have many Gates in my design that make me want to understand what is happening.

This becomes clear (to me) in my data overview from my BodyGraph. Eight Gates that are Logical. And the keynote of Logic is that you want to make sense of something, either out of an understanding of, or a lack of understanding. And understanding is about the future. In my design is Gate 57. This is a Gate that sits in the Spleen. And this Gate has as its undertone, "Fear of the Future." And the only way to be able to meet this fear from your design is to look at it and face it. The Line 1 in my design is the Investigator, the detective. The one who builds a good, solid foundation to give itself security and safety. I do this unconsciously. So it comes through me. Gate 57 says, "Have fear of the future, but trust that in the moment you know what to do." That does sound cozy, but you just have to believe all that too. And that's the joke, it's not about believing at all, it's about experimenting with what you're given. And that is how I live by design. By responding from my Sacral response and then waiting until I have emotional clarity. I am never 100% certain of anything. The Emotional definition doesn't give that 100% certainty. It does give me a depth of understanding of my decision. I have seen all sides of a decision when I wait for my Emotional Wave and in that I know with emotional clarity whether it is right for me or not. In any case, I don't have to rely on my mind, because with an undefined Ajna, I am never sure of anything. I have had 'second hand thoughts' all my life. I have no original idea of myself. That's not possible with an open Head and Ajna. But I can put a lot of ideas together into something that makes for a very nice second hand idea. Funny how that works. That mechanism of the body, of our energetic composition.

Looking at the Global Cycles and what won't be there after 2026 in terms of the background energy that we've had in our genes for 400 years now, the world won't suddenly fall apart. But I do notice that there is so incredibly much that is moving that the idea that it is good to learn now how you are made up, how you are designed to be able to continue to be yourself in the years to come. To be able to survive in a world that is no longer as reliable as we have known it. It's not something we humans can prevent in the way we've always been used to doing. But what we humans can do is learn to live as we are meant to live. Going within and seeing how you have been programmed to live as yourself. Where you use your head for what it is meant to be, as 'outer authority', good for another, but not for yourself. Human Design has given me inner confidence. By knowing what I WILL be able to do in a world that is deforming. A not-self dominated world where you can only stand if you get to know your SELF.

I raise my children according to their design. I teach them what it is to have an Emotional Low and to have an Emotional High and that both are fine and that there is no reason for either and they don't have to look for it. They get Yes/No questions from me to activate their Sacral and I teach them to listen to this. I try to have them eat as much as possible when the sun is up and to have as much light at the table when the sun is down because the conditions in which they eat is so important. I teach them not to make a decision right away when they want to respond to something but to sleep on it before saying yes or no. I ask them what is going on in their minds because they have an open Head Center and thus feel burdened with wanting to answer questions that don't matter to them. I smile when I hear them say, "I don't know, I don't care." I try to let them go to bed when they themselves feel they are tired. And I teach them to be considerate of others who may not have as much energy as they do. That everyone is different and that this doesn't have to be proven or propagated by image or sound. Difference is not in the package that is around us in which we can live this life, difference is in our design. In the way we were imprinted by the stardust when we were born and about 88 days before that. Here to make something of it together. But by being yourself. Knowing as individuals what you stand for and what you are here to do.

My Motivation is Fear. I am strategic and focused and only take in what I have focused on. The Motivation brings color to the Line in my design on the Personality side. And that's the Line 5. The Heretic. That may sound fierce. But Fear means that I am motivated by the unknown. "I don't want to be afraid, so let me understand it. If I can understand it I don't have to be afraid and I know what to do". It says something about my natural state of doing research. I dig deeper when I don't understand something. It is very natural for me to form a concept in this way. To conceptualize what I see. To know when to take action and when not to take action. To know from my Strategy and inner Authority when the projection field that surrounds me is bearable and when it is not. And from this motivation I also read the text above. From this motivation I look for other sources of information than those presented to me through the mainstream. It is very explainable to me why I do what I do. If something is unknown, then I will investigate, get to the bottom of something. And so it's very natural to tap into multiple sources of information in that. Also the sources of information that may not be seen or heard. To be able to explore the different sides of a story. To understand it. To turn the fear of the future into trust.
